The various English versions of the Bible we have today are the result of decades of work and dedication translating from Hebrew, in the Old Testament, and Greek, in the New Testament. Along with English, the Bible has been thoughtfully and carefully translated into many other modern languages so that the Gospel of Jesus Christ may be shared with the nations.
