Coronavirus Update

Dear RMPC family,
Psalm 121:1 & 5 say, [1] I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? [5] The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand.
During this time of physical distancing we are making every effort to care for your physical, spiritual and social needs. Please continue to let us know what your needs are during this time.
When it comes to caring for your spiritual needs, some Bible studies are taking place online or through other technological means, and one has still continued to meet at the church (outside with a group less than 10). Some prayer meetings are being conducted using Zoom. If you have a device with a camera and would like to be included in the prayer meetings, send me an email. We are also still worshipping on Sunday mornings.
Worship Services:
We trust that worship services have been accessible to all and that they have exalted God, edifying believers and evangelized the lost. Like other churches in our presbytery, we have begun to pre-record our worship services. We have done this for the following reasons:
1) It allows for better participation in worship if the words are able to be projected on the screen.
2) It allows for those who are leading the worship service to be at home on Sunday so that they can worship with their families.
3) It allows for any "glitches" or awkward transitions that may be distracting to be edited out.
4) It reduces the possibility of technological disruptions.
Going forward:
As the President has now extended the guidelines for slowing the spread of the coronavirus another 30 days to the end of April, we will not gather for corporate worship at the church through the end of April. We will not conduct any gatherings at the church of groups larger than 10, and we will practice physical distancing. We urge you to comply with governmental guidelines and to continue to check in on each other.
Updates will be posted on the church website and sent to you via email.
May God bless you and keep you!
