Honduras team arrives in La Ceiba
Our team of 11 arrived in La Ceiba, Honduras after a long day of travel. We flew from Houston to San Pedro Sula, Honduras and arrived to a long line in immigration. Waiting for us on the other side was a bus driver and the 13-member team from Harrisburg, PA that we'll be serving with this week. The 3-hour bus ride to la Ceiba turned into 4 1/2 hours due to rain, an accident (not involving us), and traffic. But when we arrived we received the best greeting from the long-term missionaries. They were so warm and welcoming and understanding. They live through days like we had today every day. They fed us well and have us a quick orientation before sending us off.
As our team meet before lights out we were reminded to be flexible and we ended the day in a season of prayer praising God for his faithfulness, provision and protection. It's going to be a great week.
