Covenant Kids thrives when we have volunteers excited to serve in our children’s ministry. Our children’s ministry relies heavily on volunteers to be able to run and serve not only our children but our families. Each Sunday there are approximately 15 volunteers needed to properly care, serve, love, and teach our children the gospel. There is always a need for more dedicated and loving church members to become involved in children’s ministry. There is a spot for anyone and everyone to serve no matter the expertise, comfortability and time commitment. There are several volunteer positions where the “ask” is to simply be the second adult in the room to best protect our children and adhere to our child protection policy. There are other volunteer positions where the time commitment is as little as once every other month or each Sunday thirty minutes before Sunday School begins.

To volunteer and serve our children is to see and know Christ more. Christ’s love for His children is undeniable. Our heart is for our children to know Christ’s love for them and there is no better way to show them other than teaching them His word and coming alongside our families and children in love through our service to them.  Our hope is in the Lord and we are called to leave a legacy of faith in our future generations where they have a clear example of how to serve and love others….to have a heart like Christ. Join me in this wonderful ministry of coming alongside our families in helping them raise their children for the Lord. There is no work more fulfilling and joyful than to work with children.
