August 6, 2017 Series: PSALMS: Sermons from the Songbook

Topic: Sunday Morning Passage: Psalm 118:1–29

Main Point:  God's great deeds of salvation should stir us up to draw near to him in confident and expectant worship.

I. The LORD is my strength

II. The LORD is my song

III. The LORD is my salvation

Conclusion:

Questions to consider:  Where do you find refuge when you feel surrounded and oppressed? Personal strength? Other people? Or do you rest in the steadfast love of the Lord? How is this Psalm fulfilled in the New Testament? Who is "the stone that the builders rejected"?
